Corporate Private Equity (CPE)
Carve Outs:
- Controlled equity investments in carve-outs from larger corporates
- Profitable, cash-generating or distressed targets
- Across Europe and in all industries with preference in industrial products and services
- Business size around EUR 50 to 500 million in revenues
- Opportunistically as add-on to an existing portfolio company or as new platform investment
- Flexible regarding standalone readiness of target
- Equity investment up to a maximum of EUR 10 million
Distressed:
- Controlled equity investments in standalone corporates
- Special situations such as debt restructurings, pre-insolvencies or insolvencies
- Across Europe and in all industries with preference in industrial products and services
- Business size around EUR 20 to 500 million in revenues
- Preferably as add-on to an existing portfolio company
- Equity investmentinvest equity of up to a maximum of EUR 10 million.
Buy-and-Build
- Majority and minority equity investments in corporates
- Targeted situations span from unresolved successions to realization of growth plans
- In European industries where we see opportunities to leverage multiple arbitrage and consolidate markets
- Businesses size around EUR 5 to 50 million in revenues
- Opportunistically as platform or add-on investment
- Equity investment of up to a maximum of EUR 15 million.
Our opportunistic real estate investments predominantly target land and buildings in Europe with transformational and value-adding potential. The situations are driven by corporate private equity transactions or beyond. Our equity investments range from EUR 5 to 30 million.
Our opportunistic technology investments primarily target established private equity technology funds or co-investments. The situations span from holding, buy-and-build to deal-by-deal transactions. We engage in Europe aiming for access to value-adding technology for our portfolio companies or to capitalize on high-growth trends. Our equity investments range from EUR 2 to 5 million.
