RCP is an independent and internationally active private equity firm based in Munich. We acquire corporate carve outs and medium-sized companies in special and transformational situations. We invest across industries and our decision-making is based on the value potential that we see in each acquisition. With our ‘hands-on’ approach we support our companies on the ground with their transformational journey.

Who we look for

Our team in Munich is looking for full-time investment manager on level of an analyst/associate.

Responsibilities

• Independent identification of investment opportunities
• Financial analysis and assessment of potential investment projects
• Analysis of business models, market, and competitive environment
• Valuation of companies, preparation of financial models/business plans and due diligence as well as coordination of involved stakeholders
• Preparation of concrete investment offers
• Support in the negotiation of contracts in coordination with all stakeholders
• Operational support of our companies (e.g., lead the implementation of sub-projects in the context of "carve-outs" or "performance improvement" measures)

Qualifications

• Above-average university degree in economics, technology, or law
• At least 2 years of professional experience in private equity or related areas (transaction advisory, strategy consulting, investment banking)
• Relevant experience in all parts of the transaction process - buy-side experience
• Strong communication and negotiation skills as well as the ability to work in a team
• Determined and authentic appearance coupled with a high level of commitment
• Independent and responsible way of working
• You are quick thinker, have an entrepreneurial mindset, are a team player and a strong communicator
• You are fluent in German and English, both written and spoken
• You have very good MS-Office skills (especially Excel)
